Born and raised in Naples, Brian is a graduate of Barron Collier High School and Florida State University with a degree in criminal justice. After graduation, he worked as a private investigator out of Tampa for two years. He decided to return to Southwest Florida when a friend presented a business opportunity to work for a large plumbing contractor. Over the next fifteen years, Brian gained experience working in purchasing, field supervision, and being a general manager. Brian became known for his strong assessment skills, complex problem solving, and the relationships he built in the industry.
In 2018, Brian obtained his state plumbing contractor license and started Tru-Flo Plumbing to be able to implement his own ideas. His vision is to build a company that fosters learning and personal growth among all team members, with incentives to strive for excellence in the plumbing trade.
Brian and his wife, Nancee, live in Naples with their three children Kendall, Hunter, and Blaise. They enjoy boating, diving, traveling, concerts, and spending time with family.
DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION
Jose began plumbing as an apprentice in 2004. Ambitious to excel, he took every opportunity to learn the trade. After just two years in the field, Jose was leading his own crew. He further advanced his way to supervising 60+ employees and overseeing commercial, multifamily, and high-end residential projects. Jose’s workmanship has always exhibited proficiency and integrity, earning the respect of his peers and leaders. He has built relationships with many job superintendents and project managers in the area.
Jose joined Tru-Flo Plumbing shortly after its inception. He provides technical oversight and continues to be an essential part of Tru-Flo's success. His vast experience and knowledge helps the novice plumber grow towards becoming a master plumber.
In his spare time, Jose enjoys working on his truck and spending time with family. Jose lives in Naples with his wife, Joquina, and their three children Fher, Allison, and Damian.
Nancee studied piano performance at Florida State University and later obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Florida Southwestern State College. She naturally fit into Tru-Flo's administrative role after working seven years for David Perlmutter, MD, an internationally known neurologist and best-selling author. Nancee previously worked as a registered nurse in the Intensive Care Unit. Her background in healthcare led to the development of Tru-Flo's versatility at the job site, inspired by the electronic health record (EHR).
Nancee works alongside Brian to develop and evaluate the best procedures for Tru-Flo to operate effectively and efficiently. She is hands-on with all of Tru-Flo's projects and social media. Her goal is to resume writing for her music blog, The Playlist Queen, in the near future.
